1.Indian Steel Types:
Indian major steel products are long steel, flat steel and steel pipe and 50% of the Indian steel production is long steel,46% of it is flat steel and 3% of it is steel tubes.

2.India's domestic steel consumption
　　India's domestic steel consumption grows steadily,mainly focus on the industry of real estate (including construction), machinery, automobile and the other industries.However,India’s mechanical industry only accounted for little of the total steel consumption.Its construction industry demand for about 60% of India's steel and automobile industry demand for 15%.As for the economic slowdown, India's steel consumption grow slowly. Indian Joint Plant Committee according states that from April to December, 2014,India's steel consumption only grew 1.4% year-on-year to 55.24 million tons.
In 2013, India's steel consumption per capita is 57.8 kg, while Japan’s is 516.8 kg, China’s is 545 kg, the America’s is 300.8 kg. India's steel consumption per capita is on the low side,this reflects its low urbanization development.However,the development models of the other major economies suggest that India's steel consumption per person will continue to grow although its growth depends on the urbanization and industrialization level largely.

India’s great macroeconomic growth potential and rich iron ore resources can help its steel industry to develop greatly.However,the outdated infrastructure and poor coking coal resources will hinder its development.We hold the belief India’s steel industry is with great potential.if its steel consumption per person reaches that of China currently,its demand for steel will increase by 10 times.

Export Quotation of Steel in Turkey is Falling

As for the weak oversea demand and the fierce competition,the export quotation of steel in Turkey is falling.Last week,the export quotation of thin steel strips decrease $5 - $10 per ton,the unit price of the hot steel coil is $355 - $365 / ton at FOB,that of the cold steel coil is $355 - $365 / ton at FOB.The long steel market is languished.Various kinds of steel are export to other countries at a very low price.It is expected that in short term there will not be a strong recovery on overseas demand , the price will continue to be weak.Many steel manufacturers think that it has a lot to do with the devaluation of RMB and Rupee.In fact,as the devaluation of RMB,Seko’s high-end stainless steel pipe making machinery are more competitive in the market.

Vietnam has a great demand for stainless steel

Vietnam has a great demand for stainless steel,this indicates that Vietnam is developing greatly.However,Vietnam still need to rely on import,which is thought to make the steel industry of Vietnam face a much greater menace.
According to the the report in Vietnam News on 19th, August,the data from VSA indicates that the output of building steel is 613 thousand tons in July,increasing 51.5% by comparing with that of the same period of last year and is the highest in this decade.The total output of building steel in the first seven months,increasing 28% by comparing with that of the same period of last year.However,Vietnam still need to import 6.9 million tons of building steels whose total value reaches 3.83 billion dollars,increasing 37% and 13% by comparing with that of the same period of last year respectively.The vice chairman of VSA Ruan Wenshu think that import a large quantity of building steel will make the steel industry of Vietnam face a much greater menace. Indian steel factories plan to raise the ex-factory price of hot coil

Indian steel factories are considering to raise the ex-factory price of hot steel coil because of the devaluation of Rupee.Meanwhile,the import of hot steel coil has been slowed down.
The current exw price of hot steel coil whose thikness is 3 mm in India is 27500-28500 rupees per ton (416-431 dollars/ton), some steel mills will raise it to 500 Rupees ($/ ton (8 dollars/ton)next month.
This week the steel coil that China export to India is quoted at $325 - $330 / ton CFR, rising $5 - $10 / ton comparing with that of last week.Brazil quoted at $330 / ton CFR.
Seko make the price adjustment because of the devaluation of RMB as well.
