Wooden piping history
Early wooden pipes were constructed out of logs that had a large hole bored lengthwise through the center. Later wooden pipes were constructed with staves and hoops similar to wooden barrel construction. Stave pipes have the advantage that they are easily transported as a compact pile of parts on a wagon and then assembled as a hollow structure at the job site. Wooden pipes were especially popular in mountain regions where transport of heavy iron or concrete pipes would have been difficult.

Wooden pipes were easier to maintain than metal, because the wood did not expand or contract with temperature changes as much as metal and so consequently expansion joints and bends were not required. The thickness of wood afforded some insulating properties to the pipes which helped prevent freezing as compared to metal pipes. Wood used for water pipes also does not rot very easily. Electrolysis, that bugbear of many iron pipe systems, doesn't affect wood pipes at all, since wood is a much better electrical insulator.
In the Western United States where redwood was used for pipe construction, it was found that redwood had "peculiar properties" that protected it from weathering, acids, insects, and fungus growths. Redwood pipes stayed smooth and clean indefinitely while iron pipe by comparison would rapidly begin to scale and corrode and could eventually plug itself up with the corrosion.

1. History:
(1)1938 - Rhine-Ruhr The first 240 km (150 mi) hydrogen pipes that are constructed of regular pipe steel, compressed hydrogen pressure 210–20 bars (21,000–2,000 kPa), diameter 250–300 millimetres (9.8–11.8 in). Still in operation.
(2)1973 – 30 km (19 mi) pipeline in Isbergues, France.[3]
(3)1985 - Extension of the pipeline from Isbergues to Zeebrugge

2. Economics:
Hydrogen pipeline transport is used to transport hydrogen from the point of production or delivery to the point of demand. Although the technology for hydrogen pipeline transport is proven, and the transport costs are similar to those of CNG, most hydrogen is produced in the place of demand, with an industrial production facility every 50 to 100 miles (80 to 161 km)
3. Piping
Hydrogen has problems with both hydrogen embrittlement and corrosion. Hydrogen has an active electron, and therefore behaves somewhat like a halogen. For this reason, hydrogen pipes have to resist corrosion. The problem is compounded because hydrogen can easily migrate into the crystal structure of most metals.[10] For metal piping at pressures up to 7,000 psi (48 MPa), high-purity stainless steel piping with a maximum hardness of 80 HRB is preferred.

In the next 10 to 20 years, AI is going to be "extremely helpful" in managing our lives, Gates said in a "Squawk Box" interview. "Artificial intelligence will change the future of humanity, and change the world”, the SEKO Machinery Company's general manager Mr Lv Haihui said.

Gates, a Berkshire Hathaway board member, appeared on "Squawk Box" Monday from Omaha, Nebraska, with Berkshire Chairman and CEOWarren Buffett, who hosted the company's annual shareholders meeting on Saturday.

So here are four things you can do at your company that every employee can rally behind:
1. Make people believe in your mission
Your team needs to know what you’re trying to accomplish, and your mission needs to be compelling enough that they will want to be a part of it. So provide a clear purpose, and explain the “why.” Most importantly, your goal can’t be limited or obviously tactical.

4. Provide opportunities for growth
Employees get motivated when they believe they are learning valuable new skills and building relationships that will span not only their time at the company but during the course of their career, and having the opportunity to take on bigger challenges than they ever had before. By doing this, you have a greater ability to grow and promote internal candidates for leadership roles. This is a positive way to retain our culture, create a meritocracy and keep our best people.
