Indian steel factories plan to raise the ex-factory price of hot coil
Indian steel factories are considering to raise
the ex-factory price of hot steel coil because of the devaluation of
Rupee.Meanwhile,the import of hot steel coil has been slowed
down.
The current exw price of hot steel coil whose thikness is 3 mm in India is 27500-28500 rupees per ton (416-431 dollars/ton), some steel mills will raise it to 500 Rupees ($/ ton (8 dollars/ton)next month.
This week the steel coil that China export to India is quoted at $325 - $330 / ton CFR, rising $5 - $10 / ton comparing with that of last week.Brazil quoted at $330 / ton CFR.
Seko make the price adjustment because of the devaluation of RMB as well.
