How to choose good stainless steel?

1,Judge from its appearance and quality.Good stainless steel is characterized with no rust, high surface finish, no defects ,made by the qualified manufacturer and its performance is better. 
2,Judge from its chemical composition.Generally speaking, stainless steel with high nickel and low carbon content is better in corrosion resistant performance, but higher in price.
3, Simple judgment.Generally speaking,non-magnetic stainless steel (austenitic) is better than magnetic stainless steel (ferrite)in corrosion resistant performance.
